Bye bye blog!
October 13, 2008
I hate this blog.
I’m going to keep it on the internet, but don’t expect me to go on it. Like before, though, I’m not going to give up WordPress. worldonix.wordpress.com is the place to go now! Info about this new blog:
- It is not about ACWW. At all.
- It is about a new game I have invented where you choose one of three countries to join, and you work together with the other people there to make your country the best! More info on worldonix.wordpress.com
- The reason I am doing this is because I am really enthusiastic about it! I was thinking about making this for the people in my school, but I’m not sure if they’d be into it. I’d like you all to try it out and tell me if it’s good, or complete tripe.
- Plus, I am bored of this blog, so it’s a fresh start.
Please go to worldonix.wordpress.com for more info and to try it out, all my friends! But for now…
BYE BYE ACWWALFONSO.WORDPRESS.COM!
The Acorn Festival!
October 4, 2008
Monday the sixth if October sees the beginning of the Acorn Festival! I, and many other ACWW players across the globe, look forward to this holiday as it is not one of those stupid made up holidays like Yay Day and the Flea Market. Well, nobody goes hunting for acorns in real life, but you get the picture. The acorn is my personal favourite of all the holidays in ACWW, not just because it’s really close to my birthday but because everyone makes a huge hype up to it. People growing more trees, clearing up their town to make space for the acorns, and generally getting excited! On Monday the sixth, acorns will start to appear around most ‘normal’ trees in your town. I can’t really explain in words what a normal tree is, so look at this pic below;
Beware that trees with fruit on DO NOT get acorns around them! Acorns do not appear on the trees, instead, they appear in the three visible spaces around them. Go and shake a fruit tree and see where the fruit lands; this is the position of the acorns. Now, onto what you do with these acorns. At the town hall, you will see a strange individual called Cornimer standing around. Do not be afraid of his mask, just go up and talk to him and he will tell you about the Acorn Festival. Then, go around town collecting acorns and give them to him. He will accept small acorns, regular acorns, large acorns, and round acorns. But beware, if you give him a rotten acorn he will get mad and put your acorn total back to zero!! So always remember, if you see a rotten acorn, put it somewhere else in your town and don’t give it to Cornimer! Why put it somewhere else? You’ll see at the end of this post…
Sorry for the really bad quality of this pic of Cornimer! I took it from a guide book of Animal Crossing Wild World. This Cornimer guy looks strangely like a certain turtle mayor… He says there is no relation between him and Tortimer! Well, is there? The answer to this myth will be revealed on Monday!! Anyway, Cornimer will give you prizes if you give him a certain amount of acorns, the prizes he gives you and the amount of acorns you need to get them is listed below. These pics were also taken from the guide book, so sorry again for the bad quality.
Mushroom Stool. 5 acorns.
Mushroom End Table. 10 acorns.
Mushroom Lamp. 25 acorns.
Mushroom Chair. 40 acorns.
Mushroom Dresser. 60 acorns.
Mushroom Closet. 80 acorns.
Mushroom Table. 120 acorns.
Mushroom TV. 140 acorns.
Mushroom Bed. 170 acorns.
Also, there is the Forest Wall (200 acorns) and there is the Forest Floor (230 acorns), but I don’t have pictures of them. I do have this one picture of a guy in a complete Mushroom room, but the wall is kind of hard to see…
All this fun must come to an end, and it will on Sunday the twelfth of October… At least the trees will start to go brown then Autumn will get interesting… But it’s still sad!
Well, I said earlier in this post about putting your rotten acorns to one side, here’s why…
This is the Great Tree of Acorns! He is usually full of acorns just before the aorn festival, but something very sad has happened this year…
This is a small-scale of what happened, of course. The Great Tree of Acorns usually towers high above me. The tree was standing tall and proud, watching the dragonflies zip from tree to tree, and the salmon leaping out of the water, when suddenly the ground started to rumble.
A horrible plant grew in front of the Great Tree of Acorns! No, it wasn’t just a dandelion puff, this is small-scale, remember! It was grotesque, it looked like a raffelesia gone mad. It sucked all the healthy acorns off of the tree and they rotted instantly. The plant then spurted them out, and they flew far across the wild world. The Great Tree of Acorns needs your help! If he can get all the rotten acorns back then he might be able to fight off the evil… thing!
